アートフェア東京2025によせて

今年、たけだ美術のメイン展示は、前衛芸術家 草間彌生です。

1951年最初期作品から2013年の大作まで、約35点で構成いたします。
展示内容には平面作品だけでなく、立体作品やファッション、エディションワークも含まれており、特に1956年の神秘的な深海生物を思わせる紙作品や1960年のキャンバス作品は国内初公開となる見込みです。

草間は活動初期から今日まで、ドットとネットの繰り返しを執拗にブレることなく、作品に載せて制作を続けてきました。
草間の独特の表現力、生命力の強さが、多種多様な作品の基盤になっています。
前衛芸術家として世界的に注目を集めた草間は、95歳の今日もなお「何を描くかは私の手に聞いて」と言い放ち制作を続けています。

Paris Party
たけだ美術ブース内に一部別空間を設けて、Paris Party （パリに集まった作家たち）と称して小展示をいたします。
1920-30年代の華やかな都パリに、世界各地から集まってきたボヘミアン的作家たち。
ユトリロ・フジタ・キスリング・ピカソ・それに坂田一男も加えての展示です。
特定の美術理論に縛られる事なく、個性的に生き、表現した画家たちを選出しました。

Greetings from our exhibition at the Art Fair Tokyo 2025

This year, the main exhibition at Takeda Art Co.is dedicated to the avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama.

It consists of about thirty-five pieces, from her earliest creations in 1951 to major pieces in 2013. The exhibition includes not only drawings and paintings but also sculptures and edition works. Notably, paper-based artworks reminiscent of mysterious deep-sea creatures in 1956 and an oil painting on canvas in 1960 are expected to be shown for the first time in Japan.

From the beginning of her artistic activities to today, Kusama has persistently incorporated the repetition of dots and nets into her works with unwavering dedication. Kusama’s unique expressiveness and vitality are the basis of her wide variety of works. Kusama, who gained worldwide attention as an avant-garde artist, continues to draw today at the age of ninety-five, saying, “Ask my hand what I am going to draw.”
We invite you to experience the rare Kusama works at this exhibition.

Paris Party

The gallery has set up a separate space within its booth to hold a small exhibition titled Paris Party (a group of artists who came to create in Paris).The exhibition showcases the works of Utrillo, Foujita, Kisling, Picasso and Kazuo Sakata. These Bohemian artists had come to Paris, the dazzling city, during the 1920s and 1930s.

I have selected artists who were not held back by any art theories and who created uniquely distinctive artworks.
